SALT SENSITIVITY STUDY
Participants have the options of a 1500, 2000, or 2500 daily calorie intake for the duration of the two weeks. Those that require special accommodations for conditions such as food allergies should notify the clinical research coordinator as soon as possible.
THE DIET

After passing both genetic and general pre-study screenings, participants will be placed into the diet phase of the study. The diet lasts a total of two weeks – one week of high-salt and one week of low-salt diet randomly given. Daily meals and snacks will be provided and must be picked up three times a week.
